I’m Patz, storyteller, mum and enthusiastic kitchen tinkerer.
Since 2013 this little corner of the internet was my place to share the things I love: bold flavours, honest ingredients and recipes that make life a little more delicious.
But as life evolved, so did my body and my cooking has had to follow suit.
It's 2026 and time for an update.
Enter perimenopause... suddenly what I ate mattered in new ways. My energy, mood, sleep and cravings all began responding differently to food. Those “just-a-bit-of-sugar” bakes that once brought comfort started hitting harder and not in a good way!
Instead of fighting those changes, I got curious. I started experimenting, swapping refined sugar for inulin, playing with keto-friendly ingredients and reimagining sweet treats to nourish rather than drain.
What began as a quiet experiment is slowly turning into a new philosophy:
food that supports this season of life without sacrificing joy or flavour.
